Tokyo Disneyland: In Detail

When you talk about Japan, it's all about technologies, gadgets, well-developed infrastructures, vending machines, earthquake, disciplined Japanese and a lot more.  If you would come to look at it, it's all about adults.  How about the kids in Japan?  They are nowhere to be found with the population getting older and one of the lowest fertility rate in the world.

But little did we know that they have one of the best themed parks in the world.  They have Tokyo Disney Resort: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. If you are traveling in Tokyo, you should not miss this beautiful and majestic Disney Resort.  I believe it is one of the must-visits in Japan, most especially you have your kids with you.  You cannot enter both parks on the same day (unless you pay 2x) so you need to a lot at least 2days.  In fact, if you have luxury of time, I suggest you visit each park for 2days with a total of 4days remembering your childhood memories.

Tokyo Disneyland is a 46hectare (Tokyo Disney: 71hectare) theme park located in Uyarasu, Chiba, Japan.  It is the first Disney theme park that was built outside USA (California & Florida) in 1983. There are 7 themed park areas: World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Critter Country and Toontown.
Tokyo Disneyland Entrance
Tokyo Disneyland is the 3rd world's most visited park after the Disneyland Parks in California and Florida with 13.65million and 14.4million visitors recorded in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

Inside the park, you would get the chance to meet and greet Disney Characters like Mickey Mouse and friends (Minnie Mouse, Donald&Daisy Duck, Pluto and Goofy), Disney Princesses, the Toy Story Casts, Lilo&Stitch, and even the uncommon Disney characters.  In fact, some Disney characters will welcome you once you entered the Disney entrance.

By the way, please don't miss out Disney live Performances and Disney Parades. It is a must-watch more than some of their attractions most especially if you are an adult reminiscing your youth days.

How about Park Events?

How about Park Schedule?
Park hours varies a lot from day-to-day depending on the season and depending on the events. But it usually runs between 9:00am - 10:00pm and could sometimes be longer during peak seasons.  Please click here for more details about the park schedule.

How about the Prices?

What does 2-Day Passport, 3-Day and 4-Day Magic passport mean? It means that if you have a 2-Day Passport, you can enjoy one Park the first day and the other Park the following day. With a 3-Day or 4-Day Magic Passport, you can enjoy the privileges of a 2-Day Passport and then visit both Parks as you like on the third or fourth consecutive day. Multi-Day Passports are great for Guests staying at Tokyo Disneyland Resort, and the deal only gets better with each passing day!

Multi-day Passports
Guess what? You can also upgrade your day passports.  This means that you can just purchase a single entry ticket to see Disneyland for yourself and when you realize that 1day is not enough, you can exchange your 1day passport to multi-day passports just by adding up the difference between the multi-day passport of your choice and single day passport.

How about going to and fro the park? With Japan's extensive transportation system, it's very easy to go to Tokyo Disneyland Resort.  In fact, they have dedicated train station around the Tokyo Disney Resort called Disney Resort Line.

One thing for sure, you have to go to Maihatama Station and transfer to Disney Resort Line.  For more information, you can check out Tokyo Disneyland's website for interactive transportation guide. You just have to input where you're coming from! Click here for the interactive website: via Train. via Bus. via Car.

Now, being all said, you are now ready to go to Tokyo Disneyland! If you have further questions, you can visit their website or just leave a comment and will help you how to work things out.

Have a Magical Day!
